" I have had my eye on April’s Art Work for several years
now. I frequent a local pottery and gift store where she sells some of
her work. Last year my husband and I were getting married. It was a
lovely venue but unfortunately had a hole on one of the walls that was
hidden by a painting that wasn’t quite my style!
Then, one magical day, I noticed that a friend of mine became a friend of Yapes Paints on facebook (They know each other through networking events). I quickly liked the page and went directly to the contact info so that I could email April and inquire about having a painting commissioned. I got the details and presented them to my husband who agreed that April did stellar work and that this would be a lovely way to remember or wedding day! The day that we finally met April was so exciting! We talked to her about our ideas, and unfortunately my husband and I had differing ideas of what we wanted in the painting. April must have thought we were nuts but she jotted down all our ideas and provided us with lots of examples from past work to help us narrow down all of the elements that we wanted to be included. Consequently, not only is April an remarkable painter, she is also a great mediator who had the vision to make us a beautiful, incredible and just perfect painting for our wedding day and for our home every day after that. Every day we get to look at this stunning work of art and take in a little bit of Urban Serenity

'I first met April in mexico a number of years ago, she left a positive impresion on me from the moment I met her. She has a fun personality, caring nature and adventerous spirit. I think all of these qualities come through in her paintings. Her work caught my husbands eye while we were visiting the house and home show. My husband doesn't normally point out artwork to me, so I knew he loved it. I was drawn to the bright colours, creative lines, I just had to have one. I then noticed that I had met the artist a number of years ago, it all made sense after that.I run my own Massage Therapy business. My walls are adorned with beautiful prints from April. I constantly get compliments from all who visit my space. I spend hours per week admiring them. My home has two originals, Various prints. You can definitely say I am a big fan lf April's art. I plan to buy more originals in the future, I love seeing and admiring the new pieces she comes up with.'

I have been an admirer of April Lacheur's art ever since I found her facebook postings. Her style appeals to me in a whimsical and boldly colorful manner. I'd love to own many of her pieces beginning with a series of her bird pictures....Martina Livingston
